Astron hotel is located in the heart of Karditsa. Opposite the old City Hall, at 47 Ezekiel Street, it is within walking distance of the Courthouse, the Central Square and the market.

It has been operating since 1968, founded by the Shoretsanitis brothers. Historically, it is the second in operation hotel in the city of Karditsa. From time to time, important figures of the post-colonial political scene such as Andreas Papandreou, Mikis Theodorakis, Melina Merkouri etc. while from the field of art, cinema and theater stars such as Dimitris Papamichail, Nikos Kourkoulos, Stathis Psaltis, Nikos Xanthopoulos, Aliki Vougiouklakis, Martha Karagianni, Zoe Laskari and dozens of others were hosted.

The unit was completely renovated in 2006 with a reconfiguration of spaces and rooms. The hotel includes bar and room service, while it has 44 rooms, 66 beds and a breakfast room for 32 people.

Today, the Astron hotel with more than 55 years of experience continues to offer its services to over 12,000 guests a year, always with consistency in cleanliness, reasonable prices and the willingness of the staff to serve your every need.
